Evangelos Rekleitis was born in Piraeus, Greece in 1982. He holds a B.Sc. in Information and Communication Systems Engineering from the University of Aegean, Greece and a M.Sc. in Advanced Computing from the University of London, Imperial College London, Great Britain. Currently he is pursuing a Ph.D. under the supervision of professor Stefanos Gritzalis, at the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering, University of the Aegean, Greece.
Evangelos Rekleitis has been involved in several security studies and risk analysis projects for the Greek Government, as well as in educational projects for the University of Piraeus and the Greek Institute of Local Administration (ITA); mainly in the areas of Information and Communication Systems Security, PKI, cryptography.
Evangelos Rekleitis is an IEEE member and a student member of the ACM. He speaks fluently Greek (mother tongue), Spanish (mother tongue) and English, as well as has basic understanding of Italian, French and Japanese.
His non-academic interests include studio pottery (participated in a group exhibition in 2010), prose literature, classical music, the arts in general, and semiotics.
