Short CV | Georgios Fotiadis was born in 1984 in Athens, Grecee. He received a B.Sc. in Mathematics in 2007 from the Department of Mathematics of the University of the Aegean. In 2010 he received the M.Sc. degree in Information & Communication Systems Security from the Department of Information & Comminication Systems Engineering of the University of the Aegean.
He completed his Ph.D in the Department of Information & Comminication Systems Engineering of the University of the Aegean in 2017, under the supervision of Assistant Prof. Elisavet Konstantinou. The title of the Ph.D dissertation was ''Constructing Suitable Parameters for Pairing-Based Cryptography''.
His research interests mainly focus on theory and applications of Algebraic Number Theory and Algebraic Geometry in Cryptography, such as:
- Elliptic and Hyperelliptic Curve Cryptography
- Pairing-Based Cryptography
- Lattice-Based Cryptography
He is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Information & Comminication Systems Engineering of the University of the Aegean and a member of the Info Sec Lab. |
